'Image in Stone' at the Royal Northern College of Music

Image in Stone for mezzo soprano and wind orchestra will be heard at the Royal Northern College of Music on 25th January with soloist Hilary Summers conducted by Mark Heron.

“Join us this January as students and staff unite in a thrilling evening of music for Wind Orchestra.

Our very own Head of Conducting Mark Heron featured on the original recording, we can’t wait to perform a live rendition of Stephen McNeff’s Image in Stone with Vocal Tutor and renowned mezzo-soprano Hilary Summers.”

Mark Heron and the RNCM Wind Orchestra recorded Image in Stone with soloist Caroline Krogius on Campion Cameo 2077 and can be ordered here.
