Autumn Premieres 1: Spirits Unsurrendered

Autumn premieres include Spirits Unsurrendered at Kilmainham Gaol in Dublin. Based on the writings of the women who were incarcerated in the gaol in 1923 for their political activities, Spirits Unsurrendered has a text by Aoife Spillane-Hinks, who won a coveted Markievicz Award for the research into the project. The music is based on traditional songs and sounds alongside original music which will be performed by students from the Royal Irish Academy of Music and the Rathdown Cantori
