New production of Gentle Giant (Ein Sanfter Riese) at Staatsoper Hannover

Staatsoper Hanover are presenting a new production of Gentle Giant (Ein Sanfter Riese) running for fourteen performances between 9th February and mid-June.  Based on the book by Michael Morpurgo with a libretto by Mike Kenny, the opera was commissioned by the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and became part of the repertoire both in London and on tour.   Check back for further news.  Meanwhile details of the Hanover production can be found here:
